Finally Sun

After 4 weekends of rain, we finally get a sunny weekend. We have had some incredible lightening storms

We are working on fencing the back forty, we have had skunks around our hen house.

Looking forward to a productive weekend!

Goal for this weekend

I was wanting to finish cleaning up the back yard this weekend, since hubby and I both have a 3 day weekend. Mother Nature obviously has other plans, and it is raining. In fact, its suppose to be wet all weekend. That's ok, because I have lots of projects to do inside the house.
My goal is to paint the laundry room. We are looking for some light fixtures in between coats.

Laundry room

My laundry room is large. And ugly.

Half of the room had linoleum, the other half was cement flooring. At one time it was carpeted, but the drain out back became clogged and it flooded. The carpet was ripped out.

I found some self stick tiles that I liked. I purchased some.

I began to lay them.

Hubby spent most of yesterday scraping up the old floor. It was glued to last :)

It was super rainy, so that cancelled our outdoor work plans.

I am happy how this turned out. I need to buy new trim and paint.

That will probably be next week.
